Hand-Stitched Leather Goods
All of the "Just All Good Things" leather products are designed and hand-stitched by myself often using re-purposed factory off-cuts of new leather. Items are made in small quantities, many are unique one-offs. Nb. Unless stated, additional products used in photos are for display purposes only.
Care:
Leather is a natural product being prepared skin of animals. Because the leather used comes in a variety of types, colours and sources, therefore the care required for each product can vary. With normal usage and care your leather product will last you a long time.
Patent leather can just be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Soft suede can be carefully cleaned with a pencil eraser, sticky tape or a dry toothbrush.
Leathers can be cleaned with a damp cloth and oils/waxes can be used to condition and waterproof. Please use sparingly, remove excess, allow to dry thoroughly (to avoid oils/waxes transferring to polished surfaces or clothing), and buff if required with a lint free cloth or clean shoe brush.
A certain amount of oils from your own hands will be transferred to your item and may darken over time, this is a natural patina forming on your product.
Materials used include:
100% leathers, suede cord, leather cord, waxed cotton thread, brass fittings, stainless steel fittings, other metals.
Please be aware that although I do not use pre-used second-hand leather, the off-cuts I buy are waste from leather manufacturers, so some items may include scratches or scuffs and other marks caused by machinery, handling and processing. However your leather item will likely incur further marks over time just from regular use, but this is part of the aesthetic look of real leather.
