Finely ground and sifted mixed grains of organic Aduki Beans and organic 'Black Venus' Rice. For 'baby-bottom-soft' skin, mix one small spoonful of mixed grains with a small amount of water, into a thick paste. Apply to face, avoiding immediate eye area. Gently massage in circular motions to aid removal of dead skin and impurities. Rinse carefully with clean water, using a sponge or face cloth if required. Pat skin dry. Apply moisturiser if desired.

The grains can also be mixed with other ingredients such as honey, aloe vera, glycerine, egg white or mashed avocado, yoghurt etc, and the paste used as a facial mask to aid skin hydration. Any leftover paste not used on face can also be used to exfoliate shoulders, elbows, knees etc. Please note the scrub is best used straightaway once mixed as the grains will become soft if left for a period of time.

The Organic Washing Grains make a great hand scrub for gardeners after working outside or use to exfoliate hands before a manicure. Mix with a little water or liquid soap such as honey body wash, or even a good quality vegetable oil ie. olive or sunflower. Rinse hands after use and pat dry.

Each tub contains two thirds of organic aduki beans and one third organic 'Black Venus' rice.

This product has no added fragrance as it has a natural fresh and slightly 'beany' smell from the ingredients when mixed into a paste.
